Virgo vs. Vertigo

Jackie was recently hanging out at the house again when she tried to tell Kara and I that she was a Vertigo too.

I know this isn't that nice but sometimes I pick my dog up and spin her around in circles and then I set her down and we try to walk and we can't and it looks really funny.

Kara told Jackie that Molly had vertigo and Jackie said that's cool I'm a vertigo too.

Kara and I began laughing and practically rolling on the floor and Jackie didn't understand. That's when we had to explain to her that she was a virgo. Don't worry Jackie is not a blonde.

Kara and I have a friend named Jackie. Jackie comes over all the time she basically lives with us. Next month is thanksgiving and I have quite a few friends who are too far from home and don't have anyone to celebrate the delicious holiday with.

In order to solve this problem we thought of Friendsgiving. We are going to have about five girls over and we're going to make our very own thanksgiving feast. I told everyone I wouldn't mind doing the turkey since I've helped my dad for years.

I personally love stuffing especially made from the insides of the Turkey and then put back in while it bakes. Jackie then said, "I don't think you can buy a turkey that already has stuff inside of it". I tried not to laugh when I explained you almost can't buy a turkey that doesn't have the gibblets and what not inside.

She then told me she refuses to eat the "gigglets" of a turkey and that's when Kara said, "Jackie the turkey isn't filled with Quagmires"

I then lost it when I heard that! I don't know if you all are fans of Family Guy but It cracked me up thinking about tons of little Quagmires in the turkey saying "giggiddy giggiddy alright"

"They touch you and you die"

"That's the thing about spiders, they touch you and you die"

One night I was minding my own business in my room and Kara decided to come in and hang out but when we were ready to leave we noticed there was a spider on the door.

With only two girls living in the house and us both being afraid of spiders we didn't really know what to do. Neither of us had ever had to kill a spider before so I quickly grabbed a shoe out of my closet.

She then stopped me and told me we couldn't kill the spider that we had to trap it and let it go. I was like, "Kara what the hell"? Why would we trap the spider and let it go just so it could come back inside?

It didn't matter her mind was made up and that's what we did but we got this funny video out of it!

Bye Bye Wisdom Teeth

Throwing it back to this summer when my roommate got her wisdom teeth taken out.

Kara asked if I would take her to her appointment and I was more than thrilled.

This is sadly the only video I have from her experience but it is pretty funny!

When we first showed up for her appointment she was so nervous she almost made me leave so she didn't have to get them taken out. We went back and she asked the surgeon to pray with her. Shortly after they took her back and about 45 minutes later she was finished and very loopy. I felt bad because she was starving but still wasn't aloud to eat anything. Also she was very tired so she would be talking to me and then just fall asleep and I found that to be quite amusing.

Never Too Old For Veggie Tales Right?

If you aren't familiar with VeggieTales then you either don't have kids or younger siblings and you should consider yourself lucky. I have so many episodes of VeggieTales memorized it's not even funny.  

That adorable little cucumber there on the right is named Larry and he has silly song time. My favorite song of his is "can you get my ball" Here's a link to the cute little song.

So in order for you to understand what my song is about I needed you to hear this song. Recently Bean has started working with me waiting tables. It was her second night at work and I was training her. I lost her! I don't know how it happened exactly but I began wondering around the restaurant singing. 

Have you seen my bean? Have you seen my bean? My bean grew legs and my bean walked off into the dark and dreary restaurant..

Now anytime I've lost her in the restaurant this is what I sing.

You all know my roommates name is Kara right? We recently went hiking and she had been talking to me about a KARAvan and something else with KARA in the name of it so when she finally said something about a KARAbiner I lost it. 

I told her that she had to quit naming things after herself and that if she had a KARAbiner then I would have a COURTNEYbiner. She looked at me completely shocked and then explained to me what a karabiner was. 

Since this incident I have called her bean it's got a little funny story behind it and I like it!
